About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Licencing Coordinator

This role will be responsible for coordination duties to support the Licensing department within LFC Merchandising. 

 

What will you be doing?

 

In this exciting position the successful candidate will have the below responsibilities 

 

  • Process all Royalty reports 
  • ensure all royalty invoices are raised on time and ensure all accounts are up to date.  
  • Update and maintain forecast and budget sheet including all licensees and agent financial performance overview.
  • Support on executing licensee audits, 

Legal 

  • Contract pipeline process from draft contract to execution. 
  • Ensuring the wider business is aware on newly executed agreements 
  • Drafting contract templates and deal briefs in to legal on behalf of the licensing team 
  • Update schedule of all factories in China for Chinese customs approval and Legal.  .
  • Reporting known counterfeit products to Brand Protection and assisting with verifying queried products 

 

 

Product Development

  • Collate all manufacturing, ethical reports from licensees including liability insurance in line with our QA team.
  • Manage hologram ordering 
  • Liaise with the photography team for Getty access/image requirements 
  • Housekeeping on the Brand Comply system 

Marketing 

  • Responsible for licensing marketing approvals 
  • Working closely with licensees to execute their marketing 

 

Licensees Management & New Business

 

  • Manage the licensing deal pipeline 
  • With support from the Senior Associate, develop and handle a limited portfolio of licensees. 
  • Regular store visits to assess current licensees product at retail and to identify any key trends in the market. 
  • Direct communication with allocated licensees.
  • With support from the Senior Associate, negotiate the best-in-class deals

 

Who are we looking for?

 

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience.

 

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
  • Educated to degree level
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines
  • Go getting team player with strong communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Numerical skills 
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and personable
