THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:
  • Processing and checking creditor invoices in the electronic workflow system
  • Managing payment orders
  • Assisting with processing and checking employee credit cards and expenses claims
  • Working on monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheet reconciliation
  • Regularly checking outstanding receivables
  • Providing support with other tasks related to accounts payable and the general ledger
  • Dealing with telephone and written enquiries

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Completed commercial, business or equivalent training
  • At least 3-4 years’ professional experience in accounting (financial accounting an advantage)
  • Good oral and written skills in English and German (both at least level B2), other languages an advantage
  • Good SAP knowledge an advantage. Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and to act with discretion when handling confidential information
  • Keen sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure and a high degree of initiative
  • Confident demeanour and good manners
  • Team player
