SUMMARY
This position will work closely with the Vice President, Partnership Marketing Canada to manage a portfolio of Global Integrated Marketing Partnerships with a strong focus on technology and innovation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage with a variety of League departments including, but not limited to, Innovation, IT, PR, Events, Integrated Sales, Marketing, Consumer Products, PR, Social Impact, Growth & Legislative Affairs and Legal to develop and execute fully integrated sponsorship activation plans associated with League and Partner strategic objectives.  Manage extensive project work that includes managing a P&L and other finance related fund management.  Interact with Partner personnel, including client and agency resources to fulfill sponsor commitments, build activation strategies, manage and execute initiatives, highlight the League’s co-innovation efforts across owned, earned and paid media channels. Collaborate with NHL broadcast rightsholders to build and execute Partner integrations across linear, digital/social and across NHL Network media commitments.   Oversee partner plans surrounding NHL Jewel Events (2025 NHL 4 Nations Face-Off, Winter Classic, Stadium Series, Stanley Cup Playoffs/Final, NHL Draft, NHL Global Series). Manage associated department personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a pro-active, adaptable, self-motivated individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and establish daily work priorities in a high energy atmosphere.  Candidates must have experience with (i) interacting with a variety of disciplines and levels within an organization, (ii) developing, presenting, and executing successful activation plans and new revenue initiatives for Partners, (iii) assisting in the process of managing all aspects of Partner renewals, and (iv) managing a variety of tasks/projects simultaneously and (v) curating storytelling and content across multiple channels (broadcast, digital, social, PR). The successful candidate requires proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. The successful candidate would also have knowledge and experience working with technology-based companies and strong aptitude leveraging data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and storylines.

Demonstrated passion for leveraging technology to enhance the professional sports landscape. Proven brand building, storytelling, and sponsorship expertise.  Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task effectively with a proven and demonstrable track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and consensus building.  Digital literacy, including related to social media, presentation software tools, tracking documents, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, decision-making capacity, and problem-solving abilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Successful completion of post-secondary education with at least an undergraduate degree in business/marketing or related field is required.  A minimum of ten (10) – fifteen (15) years partnership marketing, product management, and/or broadcast experience within a sports/entertainment property, technology company or a consulting/activation agency environment.  Extensive client service, revenue generation, project management and B2B marketing experience is required.
